“Working in Kumasi is very difficult; the people are very recalcitrant” – KMA Boss

The Chief Executive Officer of the Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA), Mr Samuel Kwabena Pyne, popularly known as Sam Pyne has admitted that, his work as a mayor for Kumasi is the most difficult one.

Several former CEOs of KMA have already expressed how tough it was when they were working as the mayors of the city.

Eventualy, Sam Pyne also believes that, indeed working as KMA mayor is very cumbersome.

Addressing dignitaries and workers of Oyerepa TV and Radio at the official launch of Oyerepa @5 anniversary in Kumasi, the KMA boss accepted that his work has been very difficult.

He explained that, the people in the Kumasi city are very recalcitrant and are hard to control. Their stubbornness has made his work a difficult one.

“Working in Kumasi as a mayor is very difficult one because the people are very stubborn and recalcitrant.” Sam Payne asserted.

Sam Pyne however, assured that, he will not relent on his efforts but will work assiduously for the development of Kumasi.

The KMA boss however urged radio and TV stations in the city to refrain from baseless criticisms that won’t facilitate the growth of Kumasi, the Ashanti regional capital.
