These Xiaomi mobile phones are now getting MIUI 14 (Android 13) stable update


Chinese manufacturing giant, Xiaomi, regularly releases updates for its mobile phones. The latest MIUI 14 Android skin is now available for most of its flagships. However, the company is still releasing the Android 13 version of MIUI 14 for some of its devices. A recent feedback from users reveals that a couple of Xiaomi phones are now getting the MIUI 14 update on top of Android 13. Some of the devices getting this update includes Xiaomi 11 Pro, Redmi K40, Xiaomi Mi 10S and Xiaomi Civi 1. The version number for the different models is different but the update content is roughly the same.

MIUI 14 first batch released

Xiaomi MIUI has officially announced the full release of MIUI 14 update for the first batch of Xiaomi devices. Some mobile phones in the second batch will get the update in March. However, some models like the Xiaomi Civi 2 is already receiving the stable version of this update. To upgrade, users can go to Settings > My Devices > MIUI Version.

The list of Xiaomi models to get the MIUI 14 update on or before the end of March 2023 includes

Mi MIX 4, Mi 12X, Mi 11 Ultra, Mi 11 Pro, Mi 11, Mi 11 Youth Vitality Edition, Mi 11 Youth Edition, Mi 10S, Mi Civi 1S, Mi Civi2, Redmi K40 Pro, Redmi K40S, Redmi K40, Redmi Note 12 Pro, Redmi Note 12 Pro+, Redmi Note 12 5G, Redmi Note 12 Explorer Edition, Redmi Note 12 Trendy Edition, Redmi Note 11T Pro, Redmi Note 11T Pro+, Redmi Note 11E, Redmi K40 Gaming Enhanced Edition, Redmi Note 10 Pro, Redmi Note11 Pro, Redmi Note11 Pro+

The MIUI 14 upgrade’s main points include its hugely simple system. Its memory footprint is also very low and it lasts longer than new. The photon engine architecture, system apps, and third-party programs are all fully accelerated. This makes them not just faster but also more power-efficient. In this system, very small changes make a huge difference and there is end-to-end privacy. All data are processed locally and none goes to the cloud. The Xiaomi center is now faster and can connect to more devices.
