Honor 70 to be released in the Philippines with 3 other devices

The Honor 70 smartphone’s launch date in the Philippines has been revealed. The brand has teased three other devices. Honor recently collaborated with Iridium Philippines Inc. to officially announce the company’s return to the Philippines. Despite confirming its plan to come back to the country, the former Huawei sub-brand did not reveal the products it will launch here.

After keeping details of its first offerings under wraps for a while, Honor is finally shedding some light on its upcoming products for the Philippines market. To recap, the Honor 70 launched globally along with the MagicBook 14 and Pad 8 back in August. Now, Honor Philippines has confirmed the Honor 70 will launch in the country soon.

The confirmation comes in the form of posts on the official Honor Philippines Facebook page. The company has posted a couple of eye-catching teasers that give us a glimpse into the upcoming handset’s design. In the post, Honor confirms that new devices are coming soon. It also assures details of these devices will be shared shortly.

Honor 70 & Other Devices Coming To The Philippines Soon

Notably, the Honor 70 targets vloggers. The handset features a dual rear camera setup featuring a 54MP Sony IMX800 main sensor. Moreover, it houses a 50MP ultrawide and macro camera, according to a report by Revu. Upfront, the smartphone has a 32MP shooter for selfies and video calling. The device also supports Google Mobile Services.

The Honor 70 boots Android 12 OS with a layer of Honor Magic UI 6.1 on top. Under the hood, it packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Plus 5G chip. Also, it comes with a highly competent Turbo X and OS Turbo X for superior performance. Furthermore, a robust 4,800mAh battery with 66W Honor SuperCharge fast charging will power up the entire system.

Also, the Honor 70 series smartphones feature a flexible AMOLED display. The lineup adopts a new tripod-shaped pixel arrangement as well. The Honor 70 carries a starting price of €479.99 (about P27,356 or $480) in Europe. Moreover, you can choose from Emerald Green, Midnight Black, Icelandic Frost, and Crystal Silver color options.

Honor will be launching three other smartphones alongside the Honor 70 in the Philippines soon. So, more details about the upcoming Honor devices are likely to surface online ahead of their official unveiling.
